About the Role International Maritime Industries is seeking a Senior Operator I CNC to join their team in Ras Al Khair, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves carrying out and supporting CNC cutting and sub-assembly operations, ensuring adherence to technical drawings, proper equipment selection, and valid work permits. The position contributes to the safe, precise, and timely delivery of production outputs while maintaining quality standards, optimizing material usage, and complying with all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Security (HSES) requirements, in line with the International Maritime Industries Management System (IMIMS). Key Responsibilities Execute all assigned CNC cutting and sub-assembly tasks safely and within scheduled timelines. Adhere to all technical documentation, including nesting drawings, production drawings, and marking instructions. Identify and select appropriate CNC cutting equipment and methods based on job specifications and material requirements. Obtain valid work permits (Hot, Cold, Isolation, etc.) prior to commencing any activity. Participate in daily safety and toolbox meetings and proactively evaluate job-related risks. Operate CNC machines in strict accordance with operating manuals and technical drawings. Monitor material usage to detect potential shortages and initiate timely corrective actions. Apply cutting preparations accurately, inspect finished cuts, and verify compliance with quality standards. Inspect and maintain CNC equipment and tools regularly to ensure safe and efficient operation. Demonstrate full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Security (HSES) responsibilities and procedures. Qualifications and Experience Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience and demonstrate proficiency in various cutting and operational procedures. Required Skills and Knowledge Familiarity with common cutting types: CNC auto cutting (Plasma & Gas cutting), IK-12 & Beaver manual cutting and marking. Knowledge of G-code & M-code (EIA). Experience in using electrical or manual tools. Proficiency in inspecting materials, cutting equipment, and tools. Knowledge of relevant safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (such as face-shield, gloves etc.). Understanding of various cutting processes, nesting drawing, production drawing, as well as cutting, grinding, and bending operations. Work Environment This is a full-time position based in Ras Al Khair, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, operating within a framework that prioritizes safety, precision, and adherence to established industry standards.
