The engineer will translate operational requirements into effective workflows, system requirements, and standardized working methods to ensure measurable improvements in safety, quality, productivity, inventory accuracy, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Map, analyze, and improve end-to-end warehouse and logistics processes, including inbound receiving, inspection, put-away, inventory control, replenishment, picking, packing, staging, loading, returns, and exception handling. Translate operational requirements and customer needs into practical process designs, standardized working methods, procedures, and work instructions. Translate operational issues and improvement requirements into clear business and functional requirements for BY-WMS, TMS, and related logistics systems. Verify that system processes, controls, and exception handling are practical and consistently followed by operational teams. Support investigation and resolution of process or system disruptions in coordination with operations, inventory control, and IT. Monitor improvement benefits against approved baselines and targets, including productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, lead time, and service performance. Analyze and report process deviations, root causes, corrective actions, implementation progress, and benefits achieved against approved targets. Present findings, recommended actions, and implementation results to site management and relevant operational stakeholders. Project Leadership Lead assigned site-level process-improvement projects from problem definition through design, pilot, implementation, stabilization, and formal handover to operations. Coordinate improvement activities across inbound, outbound, inventory, quality, logistics, IT, and other relevant functions. Develop implementation and change plans for new or modified processes. Training and Documentation Develop and deliver process training, operational instructions, and refresher training for new and existing employees affected by process changes. Establish process controls, audit criteria, and performance measures before handover. Conduct post-implementation reviews to confirm adoption, performance, and sustainability. Correct implementation gaps and ensure procedures and work instructions remain current. Continuous Improvement and Compliance Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices to increase productivity, operational control, and efficiency. Implement relevant Supply Chain & Logistics policies, processes, procedures, and instructions to ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. Ensure process changes and documentation remain aligned with applicable safety, quality, and operational requirements.
