About the Role The NCGR - National Center for Government Resources Sys. in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Manager Data Governance Division . This full-time role involves overseeing the development and implementation of data governance strategies, ensuring alignment with the center's overall strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of the data governance strategy in line with the center's strategic initiatives and related departmental projects. Oversee the development of data governance policies, procedures, and plans, including establishing and monitoring associated controls and standards, and ensuring their adoption by stakeholders. Supervise the development of the center's data catalog and the classification of data within it, based on the data classification policy by relevant data stakeholders. Develop training plans and awareness programs related to data management and governance domains and controls. Develop and implement data management and governance strategies, programs, and projects related to various data governance areas. Oversee compliance monitoring for data management and governance policies and procedures, assessing the application of data management specifications according to approved legislation, policies, and standards, and preparing necessary reports. Supervise the preparation of compliance reports required for data governance policies, procedures, and specifications. Plan for data quality, and oversee the establishment of data quality rules and data quality assessment. Supervise and follow up on data quality issue resolution with relevant stakeholders. Perform any additional job-related tasks assigned by the direct manager. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Data Management, or an equivalent field. Professional certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or The GIAC Certified Detection Analyst (GCDA) are preferred.
