The Role of Material Supply Engineer KBR is seeking a Material Supply Engineer to join its team. This full-time position involves managing the supply chain processes related to materials, ensuring efficient operations from production control to shipping and receiving. The role requires an individual with 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field, capable of performing assignments under general and occasional direct supervision. Key Responsibilities Administer production control, inventory control, and the shipping and receiving of materials. Inspect parts and materials for damage and verify the quantity, part number, and serial number of shipped items. Record and prepare status reports for requested and received items. Perform assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within the field. Analyze possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills, demonstrating core job competencies. Required Experience Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in a related field. The role requires knowledge of standard concepts and practices within material supply and logistics. Work Environment and Supervision The Material Supply Engineer will operate under general supervision, with occasional direct supervision, performing tasks that leverage established experience and knowledge.
