What the work is

### 1. Job Purpose The barista is responsible for preparing and serving hot and cold drinks according to the quality standards approved at Crazy Cup Coffee, with full commitment to cleanliness, professional discipline, good customer service, and preserving the property of the establishment. ### 2. Basic Duties and Responsibilities 1. Prepare all types of coffee and hot and cold drinks according to approved recipes and measurements. 2. Ensure the quality, consistent taste, and appearance of drinks before serving them. 3. Receive customer orders and execute them accurately, quickly, and professionally. 4. Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and the work area daily. 5. Monitor inventory and inform management of any shortage of materials. 6. Maintain devices and equipment and report malfunctions immediately. 7. Adhere to specified measurements and prevent waste and unauthorized use of materials. 8. Adhere to the official uniform, personal hygiene, and food safety standards. 9. Cooperate with staff and carry out instructions from the direct supervisor. 10. Perform opening and closing tasks for the beverage department according to management instructions. ### 3. Discipline and Professional Conduct The employee is committed to the following: - Attendance and departure according to the approved work schedule. - Respect management, colleagues, and customers. - Do not use personal phones during work except with permission. - Do not leave the work site without the supervisor's approval. - Do not serve free drinks or products without authorization. - Maintain confidentiality of recipes, operational and commercial information. - Do not use the establishment's property for personal purposes without permission. ### 4. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES **A. Beverage Preparation** 1. Prepare coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte, iced coffee, and other beverages according to approved recipes. 2. Maintain consistent taste, quality, presentation, and portion sizes. 3. Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely. 4. Ensure all beverages are served accurately and on time. 5. Check ingredient quality and expiry dates before use. **B. Customer Service** 1. Welcome customers politely and professionally. 2. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently. 3. Handle customer complaints respectfully and report unresolved issues to management. 4. Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance. 5. Promote café products and provide appropriate recommendations. **C. Cleaning and Hygiene** 1. Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times. 2. Clean and sanitize coffee machines, equipment, counters, and utensils. 3. Follow all food safety and personal hygiene requirements. 4. Properly store milk, coffee beans, syrups, and other ingredients. 5. Complete daily cleaning and closing procedures. **D. Inventory and Equipment** 1. Monitor daily stock levels and report shortages. 2. Minimize ingredient waste and unnecessary expenses. 3. Protect company equipment and property from damage or misuse. 4. Immediately report equipment malfunctions. 5. Follow approved recipes and ingredient measurements. ### 3. WORKPLACE RULES AND PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT The employee must: 1.
