About the Role Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib (HMG) is seeking a Consultant Endocrinologist to provide high-standard clinical care, practice, and expertise in the assessment, investigation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients in endocrinology. This is a permanent position requiring 2-5 years of experience, with salary details not disclosed. Key Responsibilities Manage assigned clinics according to the approved rota and admit patients within assigned privileges. Conduct initial assessments, investigations, analysis, and interpretation of clinical findings and test results to reach a diagnosis and treatment plan. Prescribe and administer medication, therapy, or other appropriate care, and explain procedures and treatments to patients or authorized attendants. Monitor patient conditions, progress, and re-evaluate treatment as necessary; refer patients to other specialists or provide consulting services when requested. Undertake daily rounds for admitted patients and ensure completeness and authentication of all medical records. Review and validate entries of junior medical staff for patients under care and perform privileged diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Approve discharge summaries, follow-up plans, and medical reports, and assume Head of Department duties when required. Ensure implementation of approved policies, procedures, and clinical pathways, and direct/supervise other medical staff involved in patient care. Contribute to policy development, serve on committees, and ensure adherence to Islamic Values and Medical Ethics. Participate in on-call duties, attend emergency codes, and provide patient medical reports as required. Identify and report medico-legal cases to management in a timely manner. Participate in clinical/academic activities, patient and family education on healthy lifestyles, and community health awareness. Provide orientation, bedside training, and supervision to trainees, and engage in continuous professional development. Qualifications and Experience 3 years of experience in endocrinology. Ability to provide the highest standard of clinical care and expertise. Commitment to continuous quality improvement activities. Professional Conduct Maintain regularity and punctuality in assigned duties. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures. Obtain informed consent for all diagnostic procedures, operations, tests, or treatments. Participate in and lead person-centered care initiatives. Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect, and dignity.
