About the Role: As a Porter (Retail), you will be responsible for receiving stock from the warehouse and storage, and delivering stock as per shop requirements, ensuring stock is in the right place at the right time to maximize sales opportunities whilst keeping shortages and breakages to a minimum. Key Accountabilities Include Perform receiving of stock from the warehouse to sub-stores and delivery of stock to QDF stores to avoid stock-out situations Handle all goods with utmost care and ensure safe movement of stock to safeguard against minimum damages Facilitate cleanliness of all the operational areas and equipment in the sub-stores to maintain a hassle-free workspace Follow all guidelines in relation to HIA health and safety, and immediately report any accidents or breaches to the Assistant Merchandiser in a timely manner Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by Head of the Department About You The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills: High school completion Up to 2 years of work experience Ability to lift/move goods up to 165 lbs Ability to pull heavy carts of stock through the facility Ability to schedule and prioritize workflow Ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to work closely with others Basic math skills for counting inventory Good English communication skills
