About the Recreation Experience Expert Role Edition is seeking a Recreation Experience Expert to serve as a key resource for all recreation activities on the property. This full-time role involves providing guests with information about available recreational facilities, which may include a pool, beach, entertainment/game room, fitness center, and children's activity center. The position requires 0-1 years of experience. Key Responsibilities Motivate, recruit, register, and organize guests to participate in recreational activities. Foster a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests while promoting rules and regulations to ensure safety. Observe activity in recreational facilities and respond appropriately to emergencies according to local operating procedures. Provide cashier services for point-of-sale transactions within facilities. Assist with private group activity functions and events held at recreational facilities. Identify and report unsafe activity situations to supervisors or managers. Provide initial assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive. Clean and maintain recreational facilities, equipment, and supplies. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions, and complete required safety training and certifications. Comply with company policies and procedures, maintain a professional appearance, ensure confidentiality, and protect company assets. Welcome and serve guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation. Communicate clearly and professionally, including answering phone calls with appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals. Process payments for equipment rental, activities, facility rental, or retail sales. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire shift. Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds (11 kg) independently, and heavier objects with assistance. Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of various sizes and weights, requiring hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. Ability to move in elevated, confined, or narrow spaces. Navigate slippery, uneven, or inclined surfaces, and climb/descend stairs or service ramps. Reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, crawling, and stooping. Qualifications and Experience High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate. No related work experience is required. No supervisory experience is required. Work Environment This is a full-time position within the Edition team, focused on delivering high-quality recreation experiences for guests.
