Sales Engineer

About the Role Selinc is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their team. This full-time position involves managing customer and partner relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering optimal solutions. The role requires 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field and focuses on technical sales and customer engagement. Key Responsibilities Manage and develop relationships with SEL customers and channel partners. Understand customer requirements and objectives to determine, communicate, and deliver optimal SEL solutions. Build and maintain knowledge of all SEL products, educating customers on SEL technology and innovation. Develop, maintain, and deliver upon quarterly orders forecasts and sales goals. Collect, analyze, and report industry, competitor, and customer trends to the broader SEL organization. Collaborate internally to understand and drive the resolution of customer feedback and product issues. Liaise between customers, contracts & risk, and accounts receivable to facilitate commercial relationships. Utilize business tools to maintain customer relationship information, opportunity tracking, and sales activities. Adhere to SEL Values, Principles of Operation, and World-Class Manufacturing principles. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in technical sales. 3 or more years of experience in an electrical engineering or technical sales environment. Demonstrated success working in a customer-facing role. Required Skills and Attributes Ability to travel as required. Effective and engaging communication skills. Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities. Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment. Fluency in the local language and understanding of business practices. Additional Requirements Satisfactory background check results. Negative drug test result(s).
