What we collect

Your email for sign-in (or phone number, once phone sign-in launches). In your profile: your language, current country and destination country.

What you submit — reviews, stories, questions, reports, saved items. Some usage records that protect the platform: daily-limit counts, and a log of who revealed a landlord's number and when.

Share-button taps are counted without identity — we do not record who shared.

Why we collect it

To run the service, moderate content, prevent abuse, and turn unanswered questions into new FAQs. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.

Who can see it

TCEL's admin team, for moderation and support. Published reviews and stories show the name you chose — never your phone number; you can also post anonymously.

Landlord phone numbers are only revealed to signed-in users — an anti-scraping protection.

The AI assistant

Answers are composed only from verified FAQs. When an AI provider is enabled by the admin, the text of your question is sent to that provider — your name, email or identity is not. On legal topics the assistant does not answer; it shows embassy contacts instead.

When the voice feature ships, voice clips will be deleted within 48 hours.

Retention and deletion

You can request account deletion from your profile page; the TCEL team resolves each request. Published content is removed or anonymised as part of it.

Cookies

Only cookies for your sign-in session and language preference. No advertising trackers.

Where it lives

Data is stored in Supabase (Mumbai region) and the site runs on Vercel. Accounts and databases are in TCEL's name.
