Role Overview: Founder in Residence *** is seeking a Founder in Residence to identify and develop new product or business verticals within the short-term rental industry. This full-time role, based in Saudi Arabia, involves building a new business from conception to a standalone venture with significant revenue and impact. The successful candidate will leverage existing company resources, including funding, engineering, design, AI infrastructure, customer access, distribution, and executive support. Upon success, the individual will assume leadership of their venture. This position requires over 10 years of experience and offers a competitive salary with performance-based incentives. Key Responsibilities Identify high-potential opportunities for new products or business verticals within short-term rentals. Validate customer problems through research and direct engagement with property managers and rental operators. Define the product vision, strategy, and go-to-market plan. Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and AI teams for rapid development and launch. Recruit and lead a multidisciplinary team as the venture expands. Manage growth, product adoption, customer success, and financial performance. Make data-driven decisions and iterate based on customer feedback. Present progress to founders and the executive team. Develop a business capable of operating as a distinct division or an independent company. Qualifications and Experience Over 10 years of professional experience. Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on action. Strong problem-solving capabilities. Developed product and commercial intuition. Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and establish structure. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Proven ability to recruit, inspire, and lead high-performing teams. Highly analytical with strong execution skills. Customer-focused approach to product development. Versatility across product, sales, marketing, and operations functions. Proficiency and interest in building with AI technologies. Previous startup experience (founder, early employee, product leader, operator, or investor) is valued.
