A construction company is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with proven practical experience in managing and executing construction projects. The ideal candidate should have the ability to manage projects from the design stage through final handover, with good knowledge of architectural works, finishing activities, and coordination with various engineering disciplines. Key Responsibilities Manage and monitor construction projects according to the scope of work, including project cost estimation and scheduling. Supervise civil works execution on-site and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications. Review and approve structural drawings and coordinate with architectural, electrical, and mechanical drawings. Have good knowledge of architectural works and finishing activities and monitor their execution to ensure quality standards. Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), quantity take-offs, and cost control. Prepare and monitor project schedules using MS Project or Primavera. Review payment certificates, Variation Orders, and contractual claims. Manage contractors, subcontractors, and consultants and monitor their performance. Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, Qatar building codes, and applicable regulations. Prepare technical reports and project progress reports and submit them to senior management. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management and construction execution, preferably within the State of Qatar or GCC countries. Proven experience in project management, quantity surveying, budgeting, and cost control. Good knowledge of architectural works, finishing activities, and the ability to read architectural drawings (Architectural Engineering degree is not required). Experience in managing contracts, contractors, and consultants. Proficiency in using AutoCAD, MS Project or Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office . Preferred Qualifications Valid MMUP/UPDA classification or eligibility to obtain it. Good knowledge of Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) , building codes, and regulatory requirements in Qatar. Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
