Job Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid accounting experience, preferably within the construction, contracting, or interior design industry , with a good understanding of project-based accounting, expenses, invoices, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records. Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense reports. Monitor accounts payable and receivable accounts , including client and supplier balances. Track project-related costs, expenses, and budgets. Prepare monthly financial reports and account reconciliations. Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate cash and bank records. Reconcile bank statements and company accounts. Coordinate with project managers and procurement teams regarding project costs and payments. Review supplier invoices, purchase orders, and supporting documentation. Assist with payroll, employee expenses, and other administrative accounting matters. Prepare documentation and records required for VAT and other applicable tax requirements. Support management with financial analysis, budgeting, and cost control. Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting documentation. Liaise with auditors, banks, suppliers, and clients when required. Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and Saudi financial regulations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field . 3+ years of accounting experience , preferably in construction, contracting, or interior design. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Experience with project costing and cost tracking is highly preferred. Good knowledge of VAT and accounting requirements in Saudi Arabia . Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Good communication and coordination skills. Fluent English ; Arabic is an advantage. Preferred Experience Construction or contracting company accounting. Project-based accounting and cost control. Supplier and subcontractor payments. Progress billing and client invoicing. Purchase orders and project expense tracking. VAT and ZATCA-related accounting processes. Experience with accounting/ERP software such as Odoo, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems .
