About Red Sea Global and Akun Adventure Red Sea Sports & Entertainment (RSSE), a subsidiary of Red Sea Global (RSG), focuses on developing and delivering land and marine experiences at The Red Sea destination. RSSE manages a portfolio that includes water sports, adventure activities through Akun, and leisure experiences. The organization supports the partnership between Red Sea Global and the Saudi Olympic & Paralympic Committee, aiming to provide accessible sports and recreational experiences aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. Role Overview: Instructor - Adventure The Instructor role is a full-time, frontline position responsible for leading and delivering safe, engaging, and memorable inland adventure experiences under the Akun Adventure portfolio at The Red Sea destination. This role supports the development of adventure activities and trails, ensuring guest experiences meet Red Sea Sport & Entertainment standards. The Instructor collaborates with senior instructors, operations teams, and resort colleagues, prioritizing safety, environmental stewardship, and customer service. This position requires 2-5 years of experience. Key Responsibilities Deliver and support the operation of all inland, land-based adventure activities across The Red Sea destination. Lead guests on Akun Adventure experiences, ensuring safety, engagement, and a premium outdoor experience. Conduct clear pre-activity briefings, including safety instructions, risk awareness, and experience expectations. Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, SOPs, RAMS, and emergency procedures during activities. Educate guests on environmental awareness, conservation principles, and responsible outdoor behavior. Maintain a professional, welcoming, and service-oriented approach when interacting with guests. Monitor weather conditions, terrain, and guest capability, adjusting activity plans as needed. Assist with trail exploration and assessment to identify optimal and safe routes. Support trip planning, logistics, equipment preparation, and vehicle readiness. Provide feedback, operational insights, and incident reports to the Senior Instructor and RSSE management. Support the maintenance and care of all adventure equipment, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with safety standards. Assist in the training, mentoring, and development of Adventure Specialists and junior team members. Promote and embody the Red Sea service style, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality guest experiences. Maintain positive and professional conduct with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders. Policies, Systems, and Reporting Comply with all RSSE and Red Sea Global policies, processes, SOPs, and operational guidelines. Support the preparation of accurate and timely operational reports and MIS data. Safety, Quality, and Environment Apply safety, quality, and environmental management policies to ensure employee and guest safety, regulatory compliance, and responsible environmental practices. Actively contribute to a strong safety culture by identifying hazards, reporting risks, and supporting continuous risk mitigation. Work Environment and Continuous Improvement This role operates primarily in outdoor and remote environments across The Red Sea destination, requiring physical fitness, environmental awareness, and flexibility in working hours. The Instructor is expected to represent Akun Adventure and Red Sea Sport & Entertainment with professionalism and integrity. The role also involves contributing to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across adventure operations, systems, and guest experiences, aligning with international best practices.
