AMTUR is looking for an experienced Country Head to lead its business in the assigned market. The role will oversee retail operations, sales growth, team performance, customer experience, compliance, and the development of new branches and franchisee partnerships. Key responsibilities Lead the country’s branches and ensure they follow AMTUR’s operating standards and brand guidelines. Develop and deliver country sales, marketing, and growth plans. Monitor branch performance, sales targets, expenses, profitability, and stock controls. Recruit, train, and develop managers and sales teams; set clear performance goals. Maintain excellent customer service and resolve major customer concerns. Identify suitable locations and support new branch openings and franchisee expansion. Build relationships with landlords, suppliers, business partners, and relevant authorities. Ensure compliance with local employment, licensing, tax, consumer protection, and gold-trading requirements. Submit regular performance reports and business plans to Head Office. Protect company assets, confidential information, and AMTUR’s reputation. Candidate requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. At least 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven experience managing multiple retail branches or a country-wide operation. Experience in jewellery, gold, luxury retail, or a high-value retail business is strongly preferred. Strong record of improving sales, customer service, and branch performance. Experience with budgeting, profit-and-loss management, inventory control, and retail reporting. Knowledge of the local business environment and applicable regulations. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills. Fluent English required; Arabic and the local language are an advantage.
