WE ARE HIRING MEP SPECIALIZED ENGINEERS AJTC – Abdulrazzak Jamal Trading & Contracting is inviting qualified and experienced MEP Engineers currently residing in Oman to apply for available job opportunities. We are looking for motivated engineering professionals with strong technical knowledge and practical experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within building and infrastructure projects. JOB DESCRIPTION & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Supervise and coordinate MEP installation works at construction sites. - Review and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and approved shop drawings. - Coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and other building services. - Ensure MEP works comply with project specifications, applicable codes, and authority requirements. - Coordinate with civil and structural teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers. - Prepare and review material submittals, technical documents, BOQs, and method statements. - Monitor project progress, manpower productivity, material requirements, and work schedules. - Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control and compliance with HSE requirements. - Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections, and project handover documentation. - Identify technical issues and resolve site coordination clashes to minimize delays and rework. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Applicants must meet the following requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant discipline. - Proven experience in MEP works for building construction and/or infrastructure projects. - Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction practices, and technical specifications. - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and coordinate multidisciplinary works. - Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP and BIM coordination is an advantage. - Experience with BOQs, material approvals, inspection procedures, testing, and commissioning. - Strong communication, problem-solving, planning, and reporting skills. - Knowledge of relevant international standards and Oman-specific regulations and authority requirements. - Previous experience in Oman or the GCC is an advantage. - Must currently be residing in Oman. - Must hold a valid Omani residency permit. - Must hold a valid Omani driving licence.
