About the Role Al Futtaim Group is seeking a Polisher to join the Al-Futtaim Automotive - BYD team in KSA. This full-time role is responsible for ensuring new, used, and repaired vehicles meet high cosmetic finishing standards, presenting them in showroom condition. The Polisher directly contributes to customer satisfaction by maintaining flawless paint finishes and overall vehicle presentation. Role Contribution The Polisher's work is critical in shaping customer perception during vehicle handover. This role involves precise paint correction, polishing, and detailing, supporting body shop output, Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) readiness, and sales presentation standards. A strong eye for detail, consistency in finishing, and adherence to OEM standards are essential for maintaining dealership quality. Key Responsibilities Perform machine polishing, compounding, and multi-stage paint correction on various vehicles. Remove scratches, swirl marks, oxidation, sanding marks, and minor paint defects according to OEM-approved finishing standards. Apply paint protection products, including sealants, waxes, ceramic coatings, and protective treatments. Select appropriate polishing compounds, pads, and techniques based on paint condition and finish type. Carry out full interior and exterior detailing, including upholstery cleaning, dashboard treatment, plastic restoration, and trim finishing. Prepare vehicles for PDI, customer handover, showroom display, and special events. Ensure vehicles meet dealership presentation standards for cleanliness, finish quality, and visual appeal. Use detailing chemicals, tools, and equipment correctly to achieve consistent results without damaging vehicle surfaces. Quality Control and Coordination Coordinate with Body Shop, PDI, and Sales teams to prioritize vehicle preparation based on delivery schedules. Inspect vehicle surfaces post-polishing to ensure a defect-free finish before release. Identify additional cosmetic issues during preparation and report them to the supervisor for rectification. Maintain consistent finishing standards across different vehicle models, paint types, and color variations. Safety and Equipment Management Operate polishing machines, buffers, steamers, and detailing tools safely and according to manufacturer guidelines. Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when handling chemicals, dust, and polishing equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area in line with 5S and dealership standards. Dispose of used materials, chemicals, and consumables in line with environmental and HSE regulations. Qualifications and Experience Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field. The role requires a strong commitment to quality and adherence to established finishing standards.
