About Red Sea Global and RSSE Red Sea Sports & Entertainment (RSSE), a subsidiary of Red Sea Global (RSG), focuses on delivering land and marine experiences at The Red Sea destination. RSSE manages and operates various sports and recreational activities, including water sports (Galaxea), adventure sports (Akun), and general recreation (WAMA). RSSE collaborates with Red Sea Global and the Saudi Olympic & Paralympic Committee to create inclusive and accessible sports and recreation experiences, contributing to Vision 2030 and regenerative tourism. Role Overview: Divemaster - Dive Operations The Divemaster - Dive Operations is a full-time, site-based operational role responsible for leading dive excursions, assisting with dive training programs, and supporting the efficient day-to-day operation of the dive center at the assigned asset. This position is crucial for delivering safe, professional, and memorable underwater tourism experiences aligned with Galaxea, RSSE, and Red Sea Global standards. The Divemaster supports the Dive Center Manager in ensuring operational readiness, guest satisfaction, safety compliance, and commercial performance. Key Responsibilities Lead certified divers on guided dives, ensuring safety, professionalism, and high-quality guest engagement. Assist instructors with the delivery of dive courses in accordance with PADI standards and procedures. Prepare dive boats and teaching environments daily to ensure operational readiness. Assist with daily cylinder filling, equipment handling, and maintaining a clean, professional dive center appearance. Support retail and dive-related sales activities, acting as a brand ambassador for Galaxea experiences. Collaborate with Sustainability and SEZ teams to ensure alignment with environmental and marine protection requirements. Maintain the highest safety standards when leading dives, ensuring all diving and underwater tourism activities are conducted professionally. Maintain thorough knowledge of PADI products and courses, including prerequisites, materials, standards, and documentation. Ensure accurate and up-to-date records are maintained for dive activities, training, and certifications. Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across dive center operations, systems, and practices. Qualifications and Experience Certification: Active and renewed PADI Divemaster certification. Diving Experience: Minimum 250 logged dives across various geographic locations. Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of PADI courses and standards. Operational Background: Proven background in dive center operations and dive retail. Customer Service: Hospitality and guest service experience. Safety: Diving health and safety experience, with a valid Fit-to-Dive medical. Technical Skills: Equipment handling and basic maintenance knowledge. Environmental Awareness: Marine conservation awareness. Essential Skills Communication: Excellent written and spoken English, strong communication and public-speaking skills, ability to deliver high-quality briefings and debriefings. Guest Focus: Guest-focused mindset with a proactive attitude, ability to manage guest requests and complaints professionally, comfortable working with high-end clientele. Operational Acumen: Ability to deliver engaging and safe guided dive experiences, strong attention to detail and time management, ability to support dive center administration and planning. Professionalism: Strong safety awareness and role-model behavior, ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team with sound judgment, high standards of confidentiality and professionalism. Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office. Interest: Interest in marine science, conservation, and education. Desirable Skills Additional languages (Arabic preferred). PADI DSD Leader rating. Renewed EFR Instructor certification. Social media and content creation skills. Underwater photography and videography. Marine life identification skills. Workshop technician experience across equipment brands. Valid powerboat license.
