Review vendor drawings, equipment specifications, cable requirements, and technical documentation to ensure compatibility with vessel arrangements and installation requirements. Verify cable routing, equipment accessibility, installation clearances, maintenance access, and interface requirements before execution. Support constructability reviews and identify potential installation constraints, routing conflicts, and design discrepancies. Ensure E&I installation arrangements comply with project specifications, applicable marine standards, classification society requirements, and shipyard construction procedures. Maintain updated production drawings, technical records, and construction documentation in accordance with project procedures. Qualifications and Experience Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline. 5–10 years of relevant experience in E&I engineering or construction support within marine, shipbuilding, shipyard, or offshore vessel projects. Hands-on experience in Construction Support (CS), shipyard production support, and E&I drawing modifications. Strong experience in electrical and instrumentation installation layouts, cable routing, equipment positioning, and associated engineering activities. Good understanding of marine electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, earthing, cable management, instrumentation installation, and control system interfaces. Experience preparing and modifying 2D production drawings, cable schedules, installation drawings, and 3D models. Proficiency in marine 3D design software, preferably AVEVA Marine / Hull & Outfitting, or other client-accepted shipbuilding CAD software. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, instrument hook-up drawings, cable schedules, vendor documentation, and production mark-ups. Familiarity with marine classification society requirements, applicable IEC standards, shipbuilding standards, and project specifications. Experience coordinating with Hull Structure, Machinery Outfitting, Piping, and HVAC disciplines. Experience in new-build shipbuilding projects, offshore vessels, FPSOs, or similar marine engineering projects is preferred. Exposure to international shipyards, marine EPC contractors, or multidisciplinary engineering environments is preferred. Required Skills Strong technical problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in drawing interpretation. Effective coordination and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a project-driven engineering and shipyard production environment. Work Type This is a full-time position. Salary details will be discussed during the interview process.
