About the Role Yamama Cement is seeking a Senior Mechanic to join their team. This full-time position involves performing essential mechanical maintenance to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of production units. Key Responsibilities Execute routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance tasks in adherence to approved policies and procedures. Monitor the performance of production units to ensure operation within designated limits and report any observations affecting equipment efficiency. Identify, assess the readiness of, and perform preventive maintenance on required tools and equipment to ensure their continuous availability. Organize and store maintenance tools in their designated locations, maintain them properly, and ensure appropriate disposal of maintenance waste. Perform mechanical repair work, including welding, cutting, and refurbishing replaced parts to ensure their readiness and efficiency. Comply with all safety procedures before commencing work, including verifying necessary permits and lockout/tagout forms. Undertake any other tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor. Qualifications and Requirements A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
