Internal Auditor – Gold & Jewellery Retail

What the work is

AMTUR Gold & Diamonds is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our team in Oman. The candidate will be responsible for auditing branch operations, accounts, cash transactions, gold and jewellery inventory, stock movements, purchase and sales records, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct regular audits of all branches. * Verify gold, jewellery, bullion and cash inventory. * Check daily sales, purchases, expenses and stock transfers. * Identify discrepancies, irregularities and potential fraud. * Review accounting records and supporting documents. * Ensure branches follow company policies and internal controls. * Prepare detailed audit reports for management. * Conduct surprise branch inspections when required. * Maintain strict confidentiality and professional integrity.
