What happens after I file a labour complaint in Qatar?

After you file, the Ministry first tries mediation between you and your employer. If that fails within a set time, your case goes to the Labour Dispute Resolution Committee, which is meant to give a decision within about three weeks. It can order the employer to pay wages, end-of-service or other money owed. Bring your contract, QID, pay records and any messages. There is also the Workers' Support and Insurance Fund, which can pay workers what they are owed when the employer cannot. Keep your complaint reference number.
