What must my Qatar work contract say, and what should I refuse to sign?

Your contract must state your job title, your basic wage, your working hours, the contract length and who pays your ticket. Qatar's minimum basic wage is QAR 1,000 a month. If the employer does not give food, they must add QAR 300. If they do not give a room, they must add QAR 500. So with no food and no room you should get at least QAR 1,800. Do not sign a contract paying less than this or leaving the wage blank. Keep a copy. The contract must be loaded on the Ministry of Labour system.
