What the work is

About the Role ASMO is seeking an SCM Process Engineer for its Spark site in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves designing, optimizing, implementing, and sustaining warehouse and logistics processes. The engineer will translate operational requirements into effective workflows, system requirements, and standardized working methods to ensure measurable improvements in safety, quality, productivity, inventory accuracy, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Map, analyze, and improve end-to-end warehouse and logistics processes, including inbound receiving, inspection, put-away, inventory control, replenishment, picking, packing, staging, loading, returns, and exception handling. Translate operational requirements and customer needs into practical process designs, standardized working methods, procedures, and work instructions. Identify, develop, and implement site-level process improvements, and support the deployment of wider logistics concepts from the Supply Chain & Logistics function. Evaluate improvement proposals based on operational benefit, feasibility, risk, cost, and implementation effort. Translate operational issues and improvement requirements into clear business and functional requirements for BY-WMS, TMS, and related logistics systems. Verify that system processes, controls, and exception handling are practical and consistently followed by operational teams. Support investigation and resolution of process or system disruptions in coordination with operations, inventory control, and IT. Monitor improvement benefits against approved baselines and targets, including productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, lead time, and service performance. Analyze and report process deviations, root causes, corrective actions, implementation progress, and benefits achieved against approved targets. Present findings, recommended actions, and implementation results to site management and relevant operational stakeholders. Project Leadership Lead assigned site-level process-improvement projects from problem definition through design, pilot, implementation, stabilization, and formal handover to operations.
