The company's team manages investor relations for each introduction. Pairs is compensated by the founder, not by the funding round, and investors are network members who do not pay fees. The company is a small, senior team that is profitable and self-funded. The Role of Head of Investor Relations Pairs is seeking a Head of Investor Relations to lead its investor network team. This is a full-time leadership position based in Saudi Arabia, reporting directly to the two co-founders. The role involves managing a team of approximately six direct reports, who are associates responsible for a portfolio of members and clients. The total compensation for this role ranges from US$200K to US$300K. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Investor Relations team, including hiring, onboarding, conducting weekly 1:1s, coaching, performance management, and setting clear performance standards. Establish and maintain the team's operational rhythm, including weekly kickoffs and reviews of wins and losses, ensuring the team operates effectively. Oversee the health and growth of the investor network, aiming for increased active members and ensuring members receive relevant deals that align with their investment theses. Ensure high pitch quality for all introductions sent by the team. Provide weekly performance reports to the co-founders, covering mandate calls, activations, pitches, founder calls, and referrals. Conduct senior mandate calls with family offices and strategic investors, including those in new regions. Collaborate closely with the client success team to facilitate client fundraising efforts. Candidate Qualifications and Experience Demonstrated experience in leading a team, ideally with approximately six direct reports, including evidence of team achievements and individual growth. Proven ability to hire, coach, and manage team members, maintaining performance standards without directly performing their tasks. Established, current relationships with family offices and an understanding of their investment criteria prior to founder calls. Proficiency in crafting concise and effective investor pitches. A systematic approach to work, including CRM discipline and adherence to a clear weekly rhythm. A strong commitment to discretion, ensuring confidentiality of founder data and member information. Experience leveraging AI tools for administrative tasks to focus efforts on interpersonal interactions. Work Environment This role is fully remote, requiring a few hours of overlap with US Eastern time. The Head of Investor Relations will report directly to both co-founders and lead a dedicated team.
