Role Overview: Manufacturing Operator DuPont is seeking a Manufacturing Operator for an internship position in Al Jubail, Eastern region, with 2-5 years of experience. This role is aligned with the Fabrication area and involves performing manufacturing processes for producing water elements (membranes). The operator will be engaged in various production phases, including manufacturing/rolling, finishing, testing/packaging, and material handling, following specified written procedures. Key Responsibilities Maintain a safe working environment and participate in all required safety programs and trainings. Adhere to Operating Discipline principles, procedures, and practices for safe and efficient plant operation. Operate and field check process equipment, monitoring conditions and control systems as needed. Read production schedules to determine product setup for daily runs. Receive direction from area leads/supervisors and complete assigned tasks. Adhere to strict safety and environmental guidelines, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Make decisions related to safety, quality, and operations with minimal supervision. Assure completion of day-to-day operating tasks to achieve production results. Be accountable for maximized productivity and yield in assigned shifts and cells. Lead start-of-shift data review and ensure successful shift exchanges. Lead or delegate housekeeping efforts per department expectations. Monitor, troubleshoot, and adjust equipment based on work process data within established boundaries. Perform routine and non-routine complex maintenance on equipment, escalating complex mechanical problems to a Maintenance Technician or Tech Advisor. Required Capabilities and Skills Ability to read and navigate Human-Machine-Interface (HMI) panels. Strong commitment to safety for self and others. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the working shift, including gloves, face shield, safety glasses, ear plugs, safety shoes, Tyvek sleeve, plastic apron, and respirator. Demonstrated emotional intelligence to guide interactions effectively. Strong business judgment to identify and implement solutions. Functional skills relevant to manufacturing operations. Organizational skills to navigate systems, procedures, and culture. Work Environment and Physical Requirements The role operates within a manufacturing environment with exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, and chemicals. It requires moderate physical effort, including occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds; daily bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting. Operators must be able to stand and/or walk for up to 8 or 12 hours per day, walk up and down stairs, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb for extended periods. The ability to lift, maneuver, and carry up to 45 lbs, pull with up to 82 lbs force, and push with up to 50 lbs force is also required.
