What are the summer midday work ban dates and hours in the UAE?

In summer you cannot be made to work outdoors in the middle of the day. The UAE Midday Break runs each year from 15 June to 15 September. During this period, work under the sun and in open areas is banned between 12:30pm and 3:00pm. If your employer makes you work outdoors during these hours, report it to MOHRE on 600590000 or through the MOHRE app. Employers must provide shade, cool water and rest areas. There are limited exceptions for certain urgent technical work. Rest and drink water during the break.
